There was a time when Agent 0 was a top scorer in the league and almost nobody could guard him.
He averaged just over 20 points per game, but injuries and off the court issues cut his career short. Gilbert Arenas hasn't played in the NBA since a short 17 game stint in the lockout season of '11-'12, yet, at 32 years old, he wants to make a comeback. The question is, will any team want to take a chance on him?
I think if a team can get him for nearly nothing and they are a team with virtually no bench depth, he could get a roster spot. While I don't think Arenas can help a fringe team become a playoff team, he could possible put some butts in seats and sell some "Agent 0" memorabilia.
There was a time when Agent 0 was a top scorer in the league and almost nobody could guard him. It would be great for the game if Arenas could come back, but at 32 I think the speed of the game has passed him by. Stay retired 0, and just let us remember you as you were, a great scorer who could put the dagger in a game in the blink of an eye.
